Gordon & MacPhail

Anchorpoint Interiors recently completed a full refurbishment of a multi-functional breakout area as well as a product shop for Gordon & MacPhail.

The breakout space had to perform 3 functions:
• Dining and breakout area.
• Informal meeting space when not being used for breaks.
• Route to the client suite.

The challenge was to create a space that could be used by manufacturing staff, office staff and clients. We achieved this by creating a range of different zones using colours and materials to define their function. Furniture was used to bring the space to life with a balance between style and comfort, displayed in the meeting pods and relaxed seating area. An acoustic screen was installed to provide privacy to the dining area and to enhance the softer informal meeting lounge, with a corridor leading to the client area.

The shop was created to showcase Gordon & MacPhail’s vast range of whisky to their customers. This included additional storage to hold each of the bottles as well as graphics throughout to display the prominent brand. A whisky tasting area was also a section we added to the shop to host the private whisky tasting experience.
