After successfully delivering a standout project in central Edinburgh, our valued client re-approached us with a new challenge for their Newcastle office expansion. The goal was to create a future-focused workspace that accommodated business growth whilst maintaining the quality and brand-consistent feel delivered on the previous project.
One Strawberry Lane, a Grade A, energy-efficient space with a BREEAM Excellent rating, was the perfect setting. It coherently aligned with the ESG commitments and principles of our client, meaning every element of our approach ensured it not only met operational needs but it also upheld the company’s environmental vision.
Understanding the fast-paced nature of Canaccord’s business, we focused on a balance of flexibility, functionality, and refined aesthetics. Design elements included:
- Open-Plan Desking to encourage collaboration
- Breakout Spaces to support informal meetings and creative thinking
- Meeting Rooms to allow privacy during internal and external meetings
- Hospitality Area to provide a seamless and professional visitor experience
Every detail – from textures and colours to furniture and lighting – was chosen to create a cohesive brand experience, ensuring that the Newcastle space felt like a natural extension of Canaccord’s identity.
The completed office is bright, modern, and built for the future. The open-plan layout provides an adaptable foundation for Canaccord’s expanding Newcastle team, reinforcing their growing city centre presence.
