The renovated office space for a national charity in Edinburgh’s city centre

The client's brief

To transform an existing workplace along with an additional wing of the building, to create a ‘dementia friendly’ design that reflects the company culture and boosts employee motivation.

How we transformed the space

Our design team worked with Age Scotland to develop a design that matched their need for an environment with a high contrasting colour scheme and clear signage, a space suitable for individuals suffering from dementia.

Having agreed on a design Anchorpoint proposed a phased programme of works which involved the strip out of existing space, all services and finishes works, as well as new and existing furniture installation.

The renovated workplace comprised of an upgraded reception area, open plan office areas with meeting rooms, agile working areas and collaboration space.

Anchorpoint’s turnkey solution carried out over two phases with all work contained within specific areas for each phase, allowed the client to continue the daily running of the business undisturbed, while our team of professionals ensured an efficient and smooth running of the project, finishing on time and within budget.
