Upgrade reception area with as little disruption as possible

How we transformed the space
Jabil partnered with Anchorpoint to upgrade their central reception area at their modern facility in central Scotland. Anchorpoint worked closely with Jabil to manage and deliver a full turnkey project whilst balancing the needs of the business in what was a central thoroughfare of the building.

The clients brief:
To maximise warehouse storage capacity to allow for increased production area.

How we transformed the space:
Wartsila Water Systems teamed up with Anchorpoint to double the warehouse and storage space at their distribution centre in Poole. Anchorpoint provided a complete solution from initial design and feasibility, through to turnkey management of all elements of the build. This included the installation of the mezzanine floor covering nearly 5500 square feet, staircases, lifts, a shelving storage system both above and below the floor, and finished with a detailed barcode location labelling solution to provide clear and easy access to multiple product lines in the new facility.

To create an office environment to centralise teams in a new state-of-the-art office complex.

By the careful design of office space to suit a mix of executive offices and open plan working space. We provided colour-coordinated furniture to designate separate teams, tied in with full-height wall art in a matching theme.

To maximise the use of an office space to include more staff, have separate offices for managers and team collaboration, and to increase motivation by creating a modern working environment.

How we transformed the space:
We created an effective office layout with all teams brought together in one open plan office, allowing for enhanced efficiency and communication. We included glass fronted offices for managers facing on to the open plan area, allowing them to have their own secluded space while having direct access to adjacent teams. We introduced a consistent modern design that included colours and design that aligned with the prominent SGS branding.
